Day 1

Arrive in Nairobi. After the airport formalities our representative will meet you and arrange for your transfer to the Hotel.

2.00 pm Depart from your hotel on a city excursion that will include visits to:

• Mamba Village: This is a medium sized farm on the outskirts of the city. It is famous for its ostrich herd and crocodile farm. A boat ride can be taken on the scenic lake within the farm.
• Giraffe Center: This is a conservation center for the rare Rothschild giraffe, which you can view, and feed close up.
• Karen Blixen Museum: Located in the late Karen Blixen’s historical home, this location was the set for the world-renowned movie, “Out of Africa”.
• Stop for coffee/refreshments at the Karen Blixen Restaurant and Coffee shop.
• Return to the hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2

9. 00 Am. After breakfast, transfer to Wilson Airport at 9:00am for your 45 minute flight to the world renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve. Check in at the camp/lodge.

After lunch embark on a game drive.

Optional activities:

• Bush walks with excellent resident guides and Masai naturalists in traditional warrior attire.
• Hot air balloon rides offer breath-taking views of the landscape and the prolific game down below.
• Delicious bush breakfasts
• Cultural visits to Masai villages.
• Sundowners on the rim of the Great Rift Valley
• Dramatic candle lit dinners beside the Mara River.

Day 3

Whole day in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Animals likely to be seen are the “BIG FIVE” (Lion, Elephant, Cheetah, Buffalo, and Rhino). Visits to the Mara in the months of July to September are likely to coincide with the “Great Migration” where Zebras and wildebeest migrate in their millions from the Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara in search of water and pasture.

Day 4

After breakfast transfer to the Airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi.

Arrive in Nairobi for early lunch.

After lunch transfer to the Airport for your flight to Mombasa, a seaside holiday resort. Check in at the Whitesands Beach Hotel, a 5 star holiday resort on the famous North Coast of Mombasa.

Spend the afternoon at your leisure.

Optional activities

• Swimming.
• Snorkeling.
• Boat rides to the reef.
• Wind surfing.

Day 5

9.00 am After breakfast, depart from the hotel on an excursion around Mombasa.

Recommended places to see:

• The Marine Park at Mtwapa
• Fort Jesus National Museum
• Old Town Mombasa
• The Old Port of Mombasa.
• The Tusks on Moi Avenue, Mombasa.
• Haller Park, a nature trail and wildlife conservation centre at Bamburi.
• Bombolulu Cultural Centre, an arts and crafts centre run by disabled persons in Bamburi.

Return to the hotel to prepare for dinner.

Day 6

After breakfast embark on a Dhow Sailing Cruise around Mombasa on the Severin Jahazi. The cruise follows the route of merchants from a by-gone era transporting their merchandise to the floating market in Mombasa’s Tudor Creek. The unique journey is enhanced by a superb lunch at the exclusive Jahazi Restaurant overlooking the scenic Tudor Creek.

After breakfast cross the Likoni Channel by ferry to the South Coast.

Visit the Slave Caves of Shimoni

Games Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary, (Shimba Hills National Reserve).

Lunch at the famous any of the numerous beach hotels at Diani.

Return to your hotel to freshen up for dinner.

Day 8

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Nairobi.

Afternoon is spent at your leisure with last minute shopping for souvenirs.

At 6:00 pm transfer to the restaurant for a sumptuous farewell dinner.

After dinner transfer to the airport for your homebound flight.
