Day 1

On arrival you will be met by our representative and  transferred to a hotel of your choice .You will then relax and refresh. In the afternoon you will embark on a city tour and be back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

After breakfast your driver/guide will give a brief on your safari. Check out from the hotel and proceed to Mt.Kenya Region. The Mountain is the second largest in Africa. Here you will see wild animals and a wide range of unusual vegetation. You will arrive in time for lunch

Day 3

After breakfast proceed to Samburu National Reserve on the north of the Ewaso Nyiro River. The region is home to the rare Grevy zebra with large furry ears, gerenuk antelope standing on the hind legs to feed, Somali ostriches with their distinctive blue legs and the shy Beisa Oryx. You will arrive in time for lunch.

Day 4

Early morning game drive. Back to the camp for breakfast. Spend the afternoon at your own leisure. Lunch at the camp. Embark on an evening game drive and back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5

After breakfast, head due south through the expansive Laikipia Plateau and descend the escarpment to the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Your next destination is the Lake Nakuru National Park, one of the most significant habitats of the region. The park takes its name after its most fascinating feature, Lake Nakuru. This is one of the most important habitats in the region, and an ornithologist’s paradise with over 450 species of bird life on record, the most famous of which is the pink flamingo. The park also boasts abundant wildlife and is a Sanctuary for the endangered white and black rhinos. This is also an important habitat for primates. Embark on a late afternoon game drive in search for the lion, cheetah, leopard, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelle, and view the myriad of bird life especially along the waterfront. Overnight stay.

Day 6

Early morning game drive. After breakfast head due southeast of the world renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve. It is the northern extension of the equally famous Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The Reserve is widely acclaimed as the best location in Africa to view big game all year round. The landscape is mostly expansive golden savannah with riverine gallery forest, permanent marshes and dense shrubland. The Mara is the stage of one of the world’s greatest phenomenon, the Great Migration, when millions of wildebeest, zebra, eland and gazelle move north from the Serengeti, across the Mara River, many falling prey to crocodile and opportunistic lions. Like clockwork, the migration takes off in July and continues through to October, annually – a once in a lifetime experience for travelers to the Masai Mara. Arrive at 1230hrs.

After lunch and relaxation, embark on a late afternoon game drive in the vast Mara in search of the ‘Big Five’ i.e. the lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, hippo. Other species include the giraffe, zebra, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelle, cheetah, kongoni, wildebeest, eland and many others. The Reserve also boasts over 400 species of birdlife. Overnight stay at the camp.

Day 7

Arise at the crack of dawn for an early morning game drive. Lunch will be taken back at the camp.

Other optional activities include:

  • Walk within the vicinity of the camp with a naturalist.
  • Trek within the Mara with a Masai guide
  • Balloon safari
  • Cultural visit to a Masai Village

After relaxation, embark on a late afternoon game drive in the Reserve and back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
