Day 1
Arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After the customs formalities transfer to Comfort Inn. Comfort Inn is a budget hotel located in the city centre.
2.00pm. Embark on a city excursion covering popular attractions in the suburbs.
- Giraffe Center: This is a conservation center for the rare Rothschild giraffe, which you can view up close and feed. The centre affords you an excellent opportunity to take some unique photographs of this truly magnificent animal.
- Bomas of Kenya: This is a cultural centre and offers shows on a wide variety of Kenya’s cultural practices. Different tribal homesteads (‘bomas’) have been erected at the centre, depicting traditional lifestyles of Kenya’s different tribal groupings. In the main hall, dancers in costume perform various tribal dances in exciting displays of colour and throbbing drums.

Day 2
09.30am Depart for the world renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve. Enroute, stop over at the Viewpoint to enjoy sweeping views of the Great Rift Valley and Mt. Longonot, an extinct volcano with a yawning crater that can be seen clearly from this vantage point. As you proceed down the escarpment with its breathtaking hairpin bends, you will do a brief stopover at the miniature Italian Church built by Italian prisoners of war after the 2nd World War to see the classical frescoes therein.
Arrive at the Mara Springs camp in time for lunch and relaxation. This is a well managed but in-expensive campsite just outside the Masai Mara which offers a unique experience for those wishing to see the real Africa. Full board accommodation in comfortable en-suite tents with beds and ample hot water for showers and flushing toilets are available for your comfort.
Embark on a game drive within the expansive Masai Mara Game Reserve to track down the ‘Big Five” i.e. the lion, elephant, buffalo, cheetah, rhino among dozens of other species. If taking your safari between late July and September, you will be lucky to catch the action of the ‘Great Migration’ when hundreds of thousands of wildebeest, zebra, antelopes, buffalos are caught up in a life or death struggle to cross the Mara river from Northern Serengeti in search for greener pastures.
Return to your camp for dinner.

Day 3
Rise at the break of dawn and embark on an early morning game drive.
Return to the campsite for breakfast and relaxation.

Embark on your late afternoon game drive across the sprawling savanna that is the Mara Plains

Day 4
Arise at dawn and embark on an early morning game drive.
Return to the campsite for breakfast and check out for your return trip to Nairobi.
Proceed to the Railway Station to catch the evening train to Mombasa, a coastal resort island town for the final leg of your holiday.
Day 5
Arrive in Mombasa in the morning. Check in at the Reef Hotel located along the palm fringed Nyali Beach north of Mombasa. The hotel is set in lush tropical gardens, with a spectacular beachfront. The hotel is within easy reach of the island of Mombasa, shopping centres and a wide variety of restaurants, discotheques and international nightclubs.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the poolside or on the first class beach fronting the hotel.

Day 6
After an early breakfast, depart for a historical tour of Mombasa that will include visits tot the following sites:
- Visit to the Old Port of Mombasa where full sailed traditional dhows still ply their trade from Middle Eastern shores
- Visit Old Town and Fort Jesus with narrow winding streets and rich with historical buildings and other landmarks. The latter was built by the Portuguese to fortify the island in 1497
- Return to the hotel for late lunch. Spend the rest of the day at leisure
Day 7
Spend the day at leisure. Apart from swimming at the hotel and on the beach, other activities include:
- Visit Bombolulu – an arts and crafts centre set up for the physically disabled
- Visit the Mtwapa Marine Park
- Explore the Bamburi Marine Park in glass bottomed boats
- Visit Haller Park that is walking distance from the hotel. This is one of the best conservation and re-forestation schemes in the country which has received international acclaim. Located in what were once vast limestone quarries that had defaced the environment, the Bamburi Portland Cement Company have completely reforested the quarries complete with lakes and wildlife to boot. The most famous residents of Haller Park are Owen the baby hippo orphaned by the tsunami of December 2004 and his benefactor, Mzee the giant tortoise. The famous two are the subject of a World Best selling children’s book
- Indulge in the various water sports e.g. water skiing and surfing, scuba and deep sea diving, snorkeling, deep sea fishing etc.

Day 8
Spend the day at the beach swimming and soaking in the sun.
At 1600 hrs transfer to the railway station to catch the overnight train to Nairobi.
Dinner and overnight Night train
Day 9
Arrive in Nairobi in the morning. The day is spent at leisure with last minute shopping accompanied by a Guide.
Transfer to the airport for your homebound flight.
